Human chain formed in Sylhet

Teachers and students here formed a human chain on Tuesday demanding speedy trial and exemplary punishment to the killers of Abu Sayeed, a student of class four of Shah Mir Government Primary School in city.

Madani Kafela Bangladesh formed the human chain at 5:30pm at in front of the Sylhet court point in city where several hundred took part. Speakers at the human chain said abductors dared to abduct Sayeed with the help of a police and demanded ransom. They also demanded speedy trial and exemplary punishment to the killers.

Abu Sayeed, who went missing on 11 March, was recovered on March 14 dead.

Moulana Tafazzul Hauqe Aziz, Moulana Ataur Rahman, Moulana Aslam Rahmani, Akhlak Ahmed Chowdury, M. Belal Ahmed Chowdury, Moulana Ruhul Amin Nogori, Moulana Saleh Ahmed Shabagi, Hafiz Shahed Ahmed Hatimi also spoke the human chain.
