Two minor girls drowned in a pond at Arenga village in Beanibazar upazila on Monday. The deceased were identified as Jobaida Rahman,5, daughter of Abdur Rahman, and Fahima Begum,7, daughter of Abdul Kadir, both a residents of the village.
