The religion affairs ministry has closed hajj formalities keeping the number lower from the quota, reports banglanews.
According to the latest ministry information, a total of 106,060 pilgrims including hajj management committee members have attended the hajj this year.
Names of 98 people have been shed from the list after scrutinizing the documents of the pilgrims.
Moreover, at least 41 Bangladeshi pilgrims, 32 male and 9 female, died till Tuesday early morning, the ministry portal said.
However, return of the hajj flights will set to begin September 28 and end October 28.
