52 organisations take part in protest meeting to bring back visa office in Dhaka

53Jalalabad Probashi Kalyan Parishad organised a protest meeting demanding the return of visa office from Delhi to Dhaka on 20th October at Impression venue in Milner Road in East London.  52 organisations took part in the meeting.
Community activist Ashikur Rahman presided over the meeting and Moinuddin Ansar conducted it where Abdul Halim Chowdhury recited from the Quran in the beginning.
Speaker who protested against the mass withdrawal of visa and demanding consular section to be brought back to Dhaka included Abdu Bari, Hiron Miah, Jahangir Khan, journalist K M Abu Taher Chowdhury, journalist Matiar Chowdhury, Muhibur Rahman Muhib, journalist Rahmat Ali, Ashraf Mahmud Neswar, Cllr Faruque Chowdhury, Cllr Ayesha Chowdhury, Ruby Haque, Josna Islam, Nilmoni Shingha, Delwar Hossain, Anhar Chowdhury, Jakir Hossain, Mamunur Rashid, Monjir Ali, Abul Kalam, Cllr Syed Mohibur Rahman, Abdul Shohid, Atiqur Rahman Liton, Fajlur Rahman, Foyezur Rahman, Abul Kalam, Saleh Ahmed Chowdhury and human rights activist from Bangladesh Advocate Manjur Morshed.
The speakers also decided to organise a huge protest rally and collect one hundred thousand signatures for a memorandum and send it to House of Commons.
The speakers also urged the attended guests to contact their local MPs and persuade them to lobby to in favour of bringing back the consular section to Dhaka.
