We should support Engineer Forasot Ali: Speakers at Rajnagar-Mowlvibazarbashi meeting

58To complete the undone works of Syed Mohsin Ali, we all need to support the true friend of Awami League Engineer Forasot Ali, who was with the party in its crisis days.  The speakers attending a meeting organised by people of Rajnagar and Mowlvibazar told this.  The meeting was organised to announce the support for Founder Chairman of NRBC Bank Forasot Ali who is expecting to be nominated from Mowlvibazar 3 parliamentary constituency.
The speakers said that after the killing of Bangabandhu, Engineer Forasot Ali played an active role along with late Gous Khan and Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, in protesting and organising demonstrations and meetings against the brutal killing.
He also played an significant role to challenge the conspiracies by then BNP Government and lobbied to US Congressmen for the return of Sheikh Hasina to Bangladesh,
The support meeting was held in a restaurant in North London which was overseen by human rights activists Taraul Islam.  Prominent community activists Alhaj Abdul Qadir presided over the meeting nad former student leader Moinul Islam conducted it.
Guests who addressed the audience included Dr M A Ajij, Khairul Islam, Abdul Matin, Abul Kalam, President of BBCA Atiqur Rahman Khan, Secretary of BBCA Shahanur Khan, Convenor of West London Awali League Ustar Ali, Abdul Hafiz Bakkar, Amunur Rahman, Afroj  Miah, Shohidur Rahman, Tofael Ahmed, Mujibul Haque, Kamruzzaman, Abdul Wadud Dudu, Badrul Islam, Tohidul Islam, Tobjur Khan, Askar Miah, Jomshed Miah, Jobaer Ahmed and others.
Engineer Forasot Ali took part in the meeting via video conference.  He told that he is willing to submit the nomination as people have requested for it.  However, in this case, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s decision is final and whoever she will nominate, he will  work for him or  her.
Engineer Forasot Ali achieved the highest degree in Fibre Science and Technology form Leads University in the UK.  He was born in 1955 in Kholagaon Nuatila village of Munshibazar Union of Rajnagar Upozilla in 1955.
His father was Dr Sikandor Ali, a respectable physician and his mother was a school teacher.
