After her long fight with the lethal disease cancer, once a popular actor Diti passes away today at the capital’s United Hospital.
The source from United Hospital has confirmed the matter to the Daily Sun noline. The actress earlier took treatment from MIT Hospital at Madras in India.
Diti underwent her first brain surgery at MIOT on 29 July last year, after she fell sick in Dhaka and was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
She returned to Dhaka on 20 September in 2015 and a month later was admitted to the Square Hospital when she fell sick again.
Diti was working in two serials – Life in a Metro and Meghe Dhaka Shohor – and the film Raja Babu directed by Bodiul Alam Khokon before falling sick.
