Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s first feature film titled ‘Aynabaji’, which saw a huge success in the country’s theatres, was released at the Publicis Cinémas in Paris on November 17. Director Amitabh Reza along with producer Ziauddin Adil and writer Gousul Alam Shaon attended the show.
According to the sources, the Paris show also became houseful and drew huge enthusiasm among the Cine-lovers of the country.
The film will gradually be released in theatres commercially in other countries including USA, Australia, and Canada.
Aynabaji will be released in various cinema halls located in New York City, San Francisco, Austin, Chicago, Dallas and Canadian cities like Toronto, Calgary on November 19. The film will be shown in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in Australia on November 26. Aynabaji will be shown 14 times in the whole week.
Ziauddin Adil, producer of the film, while talking to media said, “After seven weeks of release till now we are earning. After achieving a great success in the country the film is ready to travel across the world. We are proud to be able to release a Bengali film in France, Canada, Australia and the United States.”
The film was released in Star Cineplex, Blockbuster Cinemas, Balaka Cine World on September 30. The film has since been tremendously successful and pulled viewers in great numbers. Actors, politicians, athletes, dignitaries and eminent personalities and general viewers in the country praised the film. In addition, the film achieved the Best Narrative Film Award in the Seattle South Asian Film Festival of United States.
The film cast includes Chanchal Chowdhury as Sharafat Karim Ayna/Nizam Sayeed Chowdhury, Masuma Rahman Nabila as Hridi, Partha Barua as a news reporter, Lutfur Rahman George as a dishonest businessman, Jamil Ahmed as manservant among others.
