Bonn, November 26: A reception and orientation for the international students was held in the House of Integration, a project of German-Bangladesh Association in Duisdorf on Saturday. International students from Bonn, Cologne, Siegburg and nearby cities attended the event.
The founder President of the House of Integration and noted social activist Juboraj Talukder graced the occasion as the chief guest. He welcomed the Bangladeshi students, who have come to Germany for higher study. In his speech, Mr Talukder said, in order to spread the Islamic knowledge and culture among the expatriates coming from different countries and also for the integration of the migrants in the German society, this House of Integration has been working hard. He urged all to come ahead with new creativity and ideas for the extension of social and development education among the expatriates.
He added, the international students pass days in stress after coming to Germany leaving their loved ones. They face also difficulties in the German society, as it takes time to learn German language and regulations. Therefore, we provide them with orientation on different social norms, part-time jobs, visa and work facilities, job market, research, family, scholarships and other related issues of higher education. The initiative of German language course and integration activities will continue in this education and integration house.
