Discussion on the ‘tax fair’ movement of the democratic budget movement in Jhenaidah

On Tuesday morning, a discussion meeting was held in Jhenidah on fair fair. The discussion was held at the auditorium of Pagalakai union of sadar upazila in the presence of Jhenaidah district committee of the democratic budget movement.

Chairman of the District Committee of the Democratic Movement Movement presided over the discussion meeting Principal Aminur Rahman Tuku.

Member Secretary Haider Ali, Sajjad Ahmed, panel chairman Nazim Uddin, Union Parishad member Ayub Hossain, Md. Roni and general secretary of the independent peasant organization Nurul Islam, executive member Joyen Uddin Biswas said.

DBM District Committee member secretary Haider Ali inaugurated the program. At that time, the peasant leader, the teachers of different schools, the representatives of women and different organizations of different fields of the region.

Speakers at the meeting said that the government should take necessary steps to reduce the burden of indirect taxes and those whose income is more than taxes and those who earn less, they will pay less.

However, the national service should be made equal to all and the quality of the service has to be increased. The speakers also said that if the corporate tax is realized, it is possible to reduce indirect taxes, VAT, and reduce the price of essential commodities.
