Lib Dem Candidate visited local Mosque

Liberal Democrats candidate Afzal Sayed Munna recently visited Poplar Central Mosque to deliver his election campaign message to the larger Muslim community. While delivering his speech on Friday 2nd March 2018 Mr Afzal mentioned he came to seek people’s dua for his recent political involvement in the ward. He also introduced himself to the people who came to pray on the day. He mentioned how he is greatly involved in education and eradication of child poverty and what are his visions for the local election. He mentioned, to him wining or not winning is not important, rather he would like to devote his personal and professional life to the development of the community. His vision for the local election is to provide a better living to the community. He believes the larger youths deserve an entrepreneurial and creative skills hub in the ward. He along with his team also continuously working on the issues like, dump and overcrowding housing, anti-social behaviour, community development and impact of crisp street market re-generation. Afzal expressed his gratitude’s to the local residents for helping him so far and also would like to work together in future. He humbly requested everyone to make dua for him.
