Sylhet ISKCON temple fined for cutting hills

A mobile court on Friday, served the temple a fine of Tk 27,500.

A team of Department of Environment (DoE) conducted a drive at Kajalshah in the city and found that the ISKCON authority cut a portion of a hill illegally for erecting boundary wall, said Hafizur Rahman, assistant director of DoE.

Later, the mobile court fined the temple.
