Liberal Democrats launch its first campaign in Dagenham since 2010

Newham Barking and Dagenham Liberal Democrats launched its first ever-political campaign in Dagenham since 2010.  Today 11 May 2019 UK time 3:30 PM the local party launched their election campaign at Longbridge Road, Barking and Dagenham. The campaigners delivered leaflets to almost 478 doors and share views with the local residents regarding the mess of Brexit done by the conservative party and also focused on the recent EU elections.

An overwhelming number of residents said they thought Brexit would be bad for the United Kingdom and that they wanted a final say in the form of a public vote. Residents expressed a mixed view on the government and have very little faith of having any deal.

Lib Dem Executive Member for Dagenham, Afzal Sayed Munna, who organised the campaign event said: “People generally are tired of the Brexit mess by the current government and they want a fresh start which can only be possible by People’s Vote. We have managed to prove again that, Lib Dem is the only party working for a Exit from Brexit and there was a lot of support for our clear message that a vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote to Stop Brexit”.

Daniel Mocanu, Bogdan Saftiuc, Patrick Gannon, Artin Anne Marie and Weng Ang was also presented in the event launch.
