Youth held over killing of newly-elected councillor

Police have arrested a young man in a case filed over killing of a newly-elected councillor in Sirajganj municipal election.

Accused Zahidul Islam was arrested from Jatrabari in the capital on Thursday night.

A knife used to kill councillor Tariqul Islam Khan was also recovered from his possession.
