DUDA takes initiative to establish women’s college and maternity hospital in Digholbak

unnamed (1)Digholbak Union Development Association UK (DUDA) has taken an initiative to establish women’s college and maternity hospital in Digholbak Union of Nabiganj Union.

The newly appointed Advisor of the organisation and prominent industrialists Alhaj Motiur Rahman Chowdhury told this in a meeting held on 24 February in a restaurant in Brick Lane to felicitate him.

He has requested the organisation leaders to select a suitable land for the college and the hospital and assured to all that he will bear rest of the responsibilities. Motiur Rahman also said that anyone can donate land for this project; however, the price will be paid for his personal fund. He also said that he has established many mosques and madrasas in different part of the country and will feel obliged if he could do something for his own area.

The meeting was presided over by President Ibrahim Khan and Organising Secretary Atiqur Rahman Liton conducted it.
Bangla Vision London representative journalist M A Qayum and Member of Nabiganj Education Trust Abu Tanim Chowdhury attended the meeting as special guests.
