One worker killed in Sylhet landslide

One worker were killed and two injoured in a landslide while extracting stones from Jaflong in Goainghat upazila on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Ali Ahmed, 40, son of Ershad Ullah, alompur village in Duara upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Goainghat police station Abdul Hai said the incident took place in between 8pm and 9 pm, leaving them dead on the spot.

However, the bodies of the four victims could not be retrieved till filing of the report at 4:45 pm.
