Sources said that an aircraft of ‘fly dubai’ with 132 passengers on board landed at Osmani Airport around 5:20pm on Wednesday for refueling.
Later, it departed the airport at 6:00pm with 160 people on board. Through this flight services began at the airport.
Though it was declared as an International Airport in 1998, due to shotage of fuel supply it could not be used by the international flights for the years, said Hafiz Ahmed aviation manager of the airport.

Five years after its inaugural commercial flight, flydubai is now making more than 1,400 flights a week with over 500 pilots and 1,000 cabin crew taking thousands of passengers to destinations throughout the region.
