2 killed in Moulvibazar road crash

Two people were killed and 10 others injured as a minibus overturned at Kalapur in Sreemangal upazila on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Parvin Begum, 35, wife of Abul Kashem, haling from Thanabazar in Sadar upazila, and Amir Hossain, 23, son of Harun Miah of Missionpara in Kulaura upazila.
Locals said the Moulvibazar-bound minibus rolled over in the area around 4:30pm after its driver lost his control over the steering, leaving Parvin and Amir dead on the spot and 10 passengers injured.
The injured were whisked off to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.
