The first day of Higher Secondary Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations was held in Sylhet without any untoward incident. The examination began at 10am and ended at 1pm. Total 477 students absent 1st day in Sylhet Education Board.
Md Abdul Mannab Khan, Exam Controller of Sylhet Education Board told that the first day of the examinations under Sylhet Education Board was held without any untoward incident.
According to Sylhet Education Board sources, the examinations in 75 centres under the board.
This time a total of 49290 examinees sat for examinations. Total 477 students absent 1st day.
Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Md. Shohidul Islam said that they beefed up security during the time of the examinations.
‘We have visited a number of examination centres of the city and observed that the examinations were going on without any hindrance,’ said the DC
