Body of minor boy found in Sylhet

The body of a minor body was found hanging from the ceiling of his house at Electric Supply area of the city on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Ramjan Mian, 14, son of Habil Mian of the area.

 Police said a neighbour saw the hanging body of Ramjan through the window of a room at House 35 under ward no. 5 of the city at noon.

 Police went to the spot and recovered the body around 1pm.

 Later, the body was sent to MAG Osmani Hospital for autopsy.

Local people; said Ramjan used to work at a electric workshop in the area and was staying at his house over the last one week for his illness.

Airport Police Station officer-in-charge Gausul Alam confirmed the incident.
