March toward Sylhet on May 7, 8

ddddPeople’s march towards Sylhet on May 7 and 8 has been declared demanding immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the people, including BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, on charges of killing people and destroying properties.
Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan announced the program as President of Sramik-Karmachari-Peshajibi-Muktijoddha Samannay Parishad from a press conference held at VIP lounge of Jatiya Press Club (JPC).
In a written statement, he also said a similar march towards northern part of the country will also be held on May 22, 23 and 24 for realization of the same demands. Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Malik Shramik Oikya Parishad declared solidarity with the march towards North Bengal.
A rally of workers will also be held at Adamji of Narayanganj on July 10 in protest against shutting down around 5,000 factories including Adamji Jute Mills compelling thousands of workers to live a subhuman life.
Elaborating the reason to declare such program, the minister said that they have announced the program in a bid to secure support from people of different strata of life to drum up support in favour of the demands.
