Bangladesh is the role model of development: Dr. Abdul Momen

21Bangladesh is the role model of development in the world now. Dr. Abdul Momen, permanent representative in United Nations from Bangladesh, has told this in a view-exchanging meeting with Sylhet Shommiloni at Monte Fiore Centre on 23 May.

He also said that Bangladesh is advancing in faster pace. Especially, this country has achieved a lot in agriculture, education, health, poverty alleviation and communication. He also said that Bangladesh is now self-dependent in food production.

Dr. Momen recently came to the UK to join the seminar on climate change seminar in Edinburgh.

Convenor of Sylhet Shohor Shommiloni, journalist Ansar Ahmed Ullah presided over the meeting and Member of Lodon Assembly Morad Quoreshi conducted the meeting. Guest who also addressed the audience included Najma Uddin, Hosne Ara Motin, Khaleda Mostaq Quoreshi, Writer Nurul Islam, President of UK Awami League Sultan Mahmud Sharif, former MP of Sylhet Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury.
