Home Minister meets Rajan’s family

37Home Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Wednesday visited the family members of 13-year-old boy, Samiul Alam Rajon, who was killed in a gruesome manner in Kumargaon of Sylhet on July 8.

The minister today went to the village in Badeyali of Kandigaw union under Sylhet Sadar Upazila around 3:00pm.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the Rajan’s killer Kamrul will be backed soon from Saudi Arabia. Following the killing, Interpol issued an alert for the arrest of Kamrul.

The Minister also said that a probe committee has been made on the allegation of irregularities against police members.

He also said that the justice of Rajan killing case will not be delayed. The case will be settled by speedy trial.

Meanwhile, the state minister promised to grant Tk.One lakh for Rajan’s family.

The 13-year-old boy, Rajan, was brutally beaten to death on July 8 in Sylhet and the brutal beating was videographed on a mobile phone after a group of men accused the child of stealing a rickshaw.
