UKBCCI holds networking event

UK Bangladeshi Catalysts of Commerce & Industry organised a special networking and welcoming event to welcome its six new directors who joined UKBCCI recently.  This networing event was held at Amanah Banqueting Centre in East London.  Director of UKBCCI Barrister Anwar Babul Miah conducted the event.
Renowned business personality and President of UKBCCI Bajloor Rashid MBE addressed the audience with his welcoming speech.
Chairman of UKBCCI and promising British Bangladeshi Banker Iqbal Ahmed OBE also addressed the audience.
Bajloor Rashid MBE menitoned that UKBCCI has already made an impact in UK and Bangladeshi business community in creating opportunities for new business opportunities and motivating new businesses.  This will inclued creating interniship for graduates and upcoming enterpreurs in both countries and providing facilities for them.
We are continues lobbying with policy makers in both Bangladesh and UK for safe and sound investment including remmittance moving through proper banking channel without any barriers- said Mr Iqbal Ahmed OBE. He added, UKBCCI strives to set up a consultant network which will connect leading and experienced business persons along with key government personnel from both countries with the aim to help present and upcoming enterpreneurs.  This will provide correct and accurate businees and innovative consultation including liaising and maintaining within this businesses without any delay.

Alan Ride, International Trade Advisor from the UK Trade & Investment, pointed out that, UKBCCI  lobbies the interests of the business community and has provided the steps and recommendations.  This is beneficial for both the business and investment and business sectors. He assured that through local consular service and cooperation, the UK Trade &  Investment Authority  will continue to provide all the facilities.

Before the speech from Alan Ride, UKBCCI welcomed six new directors who has joined The UKBCCI recentlym who are Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman(Nasir), Mr M A Gani, Mr M G Moula Miah, Abdul Quayum Khalique ( Jamal), Harun Miah, and Nazinur Rahim. UKBCCI hoped that the recent joiningw will strenthen the hands of UKBCCI and help the organisation to perform even more effectively.
Chairman of Bangladesh Caterers Association Pasha Khandakar; Head of Community Affairs of Canary Wharf Group PLC Zakir Khan, Baroness Paula Manjila Uddin and Bangladeshi High Commissioner to the UK and Ireland Abdul Hannan were among others who addressed the audience.
Senior Vice-President of UKBCCI Abdur Rouf JP expressed his gratitude to all who joined the event and other members of UKBCCI.
