shops gutted in Sylhet

A shops were gutted as a devastating fire broke out at Biswanath’er Gown under Bandar Biswanath area in the Sylhet  early Tuesday.
Locals said that the fire was originated from an electric short circuit around 2:30am at a Stationary  shop and soon engulfed other shops.
A loss of around Tk 25 lakh was estimated immediately by the shop owners, locals added. However, on information, locals and seven fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 4:00am.
