Minor boy drowns in Sylhet

A minor boy drowned in a pond at Khali Gawn  village in Sadar upazila of Sylhet district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mizan Ahmed, 8, son of a Abdulla Miah  a resident of the village.
Locals said Mizan  slipped into the pond while he was playing beside afternoon.
Later family members searched him everywhere and his body was found in the water of the pond on Sunday morning.
Locals recovered the body. Jalalabad officer-in-charge (OC) Confirmed the metter.
