Students’ cabinet polls held at 20 schools

The students’ cabinet elections from class six to ten were held simultaneously at 20 schools and Dakhil madrasas Sylhet Division on Saturday with festivity and enthusiasm, “The students got the opportunity to elect their leaders through the student cabinet polls. This election would imbibe the students with the motto of building the nation,” Education Officer in Sylhet  said while visiting the polls at Kanaigahat School.
Education Officer witnessed the students’ eagerness and enthusiasm about the polls and said such type of election will set up an example for all, including political parties.
“There is no alternative to democratic practice. This kind of polls would help the students groom themselves as efficient and capable citizens to take the country ahead,” the Officer  said.
The elections were held at secondary educational institutions of 10 upazilas Among these, 18 were secondary schools, 20  Dakhil madrasas.
