Youth ‘commits suicide’ in Sunamganj

A youth reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his residence at Polosshree in Jagannathpur upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Saleh Ahmed, 23, son of late Nasir Mian, hailing from Sajonshree village in the upazila.
Relatives of the deceased said Saheh committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling of his room on Monday noon.
Later, his mother noticed it and informed police.
Police recovered the body from his room.
Sub-inspector of Jagannathpur Police Station Anirban Biswas said the body was handed over to the deceased’s family without autopsy according to their application.
