shops gutted in Sylhet

Biscuit shops have been gutted in a fire that broke out in Kusigat under Sadar upazila of Sylhet.
Fire Service Station Leader told that the fire originated at Pusti bakeries Store from an electric short circuit at Kusigat around 3pm on Sunday.
“The fire soon engulfed to seven adjacent shops and damaged valuables worth Tk20 lakh,” he added.
Fire Fighters’ units from Sylhet station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after 25 minutes.
“No causalities were reported,” the official added.
