Youth ‘kills self’ in Sunamganj

A young man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his room at Pondur village in Tahirpur upazila on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Komol Sarker, 28, son of Noni Gopal, a resident of the village.

Bishwajit Sarker, chairman of Dakhshin Sripur union, said Komol committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling of his room at night.

On information, police recovered the body around 10pm and sent it to Sumanganj Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.
