Woman killed in Habiganj boat capsize

A woman was killed and 10 others were injured as a boat sank in the Sonai River in Madhabpur upazila headquarters of Habiganj district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Firoza Begum, 40, wife of Nur Mia of Madhabpur municipality area. Witnesses said the boat sank in the mid river with 15 passengers on board while going to Akhaura Kharampur Hazrat Sayed Gesudaraz Kalla Mazar Sharif around 4.00pm. Firoza Begum drowned in the river and died while 10 others injured in the incident.
