Two killed, 20 injured as rival villagers clash at Chhatak in Sunamganj

Two people have been killed and at least 20 others injured in a clash between rival villagers in Sunamganj.

Chhatak Police Station OC Ashek Suja Mamun said two groups of villagers of Pirpur fought each other after Juma prayers on Friday over a longstanding feud between Moyna Mia and Mastan Mia.

Batu Mia, 45, and Kabir Mia, 22, died on the spot, he said.

Police later brought the situation under control, he added.
