Robbers loot jewelry, Tk1.90 lakh in Sylhet

Robber have allegedly looted 39 grams of gold jewelry and Tk1.90 lakh from two houses at Khasdabir in Sylhet.
Police and local sources said a group of robbers swooped on the house of one Haji Farid Mia and looted the jewelry and money holding the residents at gunpoint.
House owner Haji Farid Mia said his daughter’s marriage ceremony was scheduled to be held on Saturday afternoon.
Besides, the robbers looted eight grams of gold jewelry and Tk20,000 from another house of the same area.
Airport police station OC Gousul Hossain said police visited the robbery spots.
