5 sued over Sunday’s BCL clash in Sylhet

A case was filed on Monday against five Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leaders in connection with a clash between two factions of BCL over establishing supremacy in Baluchar area of the city on Sunday night.
Officer-in charge of Shah Poran Police Station Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said Manowar Hossain, aleader of BCL, filed the case against Monjur Ahmed, Ranjon, Joynal, Arif and Sayem.
Earlier, 10 activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were bullet-injured in a clash between its two factions over establishing supremacy in Baluchar area.
The injured were admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
