No Eid holidays for railway officials

Holidays of all railway officials have been cancelled for ensuring smooth journey of homebound people ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque said this while speaking as the chief guest at a freshers’ reception programme at Mia Bazar Degree College in Chauddagram upazila of the district.

The minister also noted that special trains will be introduced to tackle the pressure of homebound people three days ahead the Eid and the trains will continue to give trips as long as three days after the Eid day.
