Pvt varsity students stage demo in Sylhet

Students of Leading University and Metropoliton University jointly brought out a procession at Surma point in the Sylhet on Sunday protesting imposition of VAT on their tuition fees.

They staged demonstrations in Sylhet demanding immediate withdrawal of 7.5 percent VAT on their tuition fees.

processions were brought out at Surma point, Bondor and other parts of the city.

The government imposed a 7.5 percent VAT on tuition fees of students of private universities, medical and engineering colleges.
