Three get life term for killing trader in Sylhet

A speedy trial tribunal on Sunday convicted three people and sentenced them to life term imprisonment for killing a trader in 2012.
Magistrate of the Sylhet Speedy Tribunal Makbul Ahsan pronounced the verdict after examining records and witnesses.
The lifers are : Azadur Rahman, Jewel Mia and Abdus Salam Rubal.
The court also sentenced Muhib Mia for five years’ jail.
According to the prosecution, the convicts killed Abdul Majid, son of Abdur Rahman of Kamalganj upazila in Moulvibazar district on August 29, 2012 over a love affair.
On the same night, the victim’s father filed a case with the respective police station
