Italy expats house looted in Sylhet

Armed miscreants looted valuables and money from the house of an expatriate at village Talikona under Biswanath upazila under Sylhet district early hours Friday. About 12 armed men of the gang entered the house by breaking open the door and beat the inmates mercilessly.
They tied them with ropes and looted Saudi currency, gold ornament, cell phone etc worth Tk 7,00000 from the house at gunpoint, informed Badsha Miha, Father of  Aziruddin, who returned home 2 weeks ago from Italy.
The miscreants reached the house by boat and managed escaping the scene after looting since it is located on an isolated side of the village.
Officer in charge of Biswanath police station Md. Rofikul Hossain said, police would investigate into the incident.
