BCA leader called upon all caterers to maintain the highest quality, presentation and realistic pricing of their products. The leaders requested this to all curry industry owners in a executive committee meeting held in Colchester on Thursday 8th October which was organised by Bangladesh Caterers Association Essex branch.
President of Essex BCA and UK BCCI London President Jamal Uddin Moqoddus presided over the meeting and General Secretary Forhad Hossain Tipu. Membership Secretary Ishtiaq Hossain Dudu gave the welcoming speech in the meeting.
Other guests who addressed the audience included organisation’s Vice-President Shah Ashraf Hossain Mukul, Orgnaising Secretary Najam Uddin Najrul, Press and Publicity Secretary Misbah Uddin, Joint Treasurer Altaf Hossain, BCA leader Abjol Hossain, Badrul Uddin Raju, Abdus Sophan, Anwar Ahmed Morad, M S Miah Loylus, Khalku Miah and others.
Motin Miah recited from the Quran in the beginning of the meeting. A decision was taken to conduct an agreement with Learn Direct. This company will provide training for chefs, kitchen porters, waiters, waitresses and in other required fields.
BCA Essex Branch also decided to hold its annual award giving ceremony on 22nd November and a networking meeting in November. The committee also decided to organise a food festival and publish a magazine on activities of this organisation. The committee formed two sub-committees in order to strengthen the activities for the upcoming events.
Organisation’s President Jamal Uddin Moquddus urged all the caterers to work with unity in this recent period of struggle.
