Two killed in Sylhet road crash

41Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Ausha on Sylhet-Sumanganj road in the city on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Sultana Begum, 52, hailing from Dirai upazila, and Liton Miah, 27, of Chhatak in Sunamganj district.
Officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station Shaymal Banik said the accident took place as a Sunamganj-bound Pepsi company truck hit two CNG-run auto-rickshaws in the area around 2:30pm.
The three vehicles fell into a roadside ditch following the collision, leaving Sultana and Liton dead on the spot and three passengers injured.
