Boishakhi Mela celebrated in Crowley

Crowley Bangladesh Association in Sussex recently organised Boishakhi Mela at Bewbush Centre. Bengali communities from Horly, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Burgess Hill and Sussex took part in the Mela.

The Mela was jointly conducted by Tareque Miah and Towhid Miah, where M Qayum Miah addressed the audience as the President.

Sadeque Miah delivered his speech as the Chief Guest. Famous performer Rushanara Moni, Nurajahan Shilpi and others performed at the Mela which was deeply enjoyed by all.

Among others who took part in organising the Mela included Shahedur Rahman, Anwar Miah, Nurul Alam Uzzal, Saleh Ahmed, Abdullah Al Mamun, Shoeb Bhuyan, Shafique Uddin, Tofael Ahmed, Usman Ali, Mostofa Ahmed, Ashraf Ahmed and others.
