Rail link of Sylhet with other parts suspended

Rail communications of Sylhet with other parts of the country remained suspended since Thursday morning as a pillar of a bridge collapsed in Madhabpur upazila. Railway sources said, the pillar collapsed due to overnight rainfall that softened the soil of the bridge. The authority then suspended the rail services because the bridge has posed risk to train movement.
