Ansar Ahmed Ullah and Jamal Khan honoured by Tower Hamlets Council
Prominent human rights activist Ansar Ahmed Ullah and Community activist Jamal Khan received Tower Hamlets Speaker Award for their contribution in the local community.
Speaker of Tower Hamlets Council Khalis Uddin handed over certificates and crests to them. The speaker praised highly of the contribution of Ansar Ahed Ullah and Jamal Khan and said that multiculturalism and community cohesion are the main driving force of current British society.
Ansar Ahmed Ullah and Jamal Khan expressed their gratitude to the Speaker for this honour and emphasised that these types of recognition will inspire them more into community work.
These two activists again expressed their commitment towards the community and said that they will continue to work in this field.
