Mominul longs for Australia series

unnamed (18)Bangladesh national cricket team member Mominul Haque unluckly has been branded as a Test player though he is confident of playing in all formats of cricket.

Anyway, now he is longing for upcoming Australia series as his side hardly gets any opportunity for playing Test against big guns like Australia.

Ahead of the upcoming two-match Test series in August-September, Bangladesh national cricketers and the members of the 29-member preliminary squad will formally begin their camp from July 10.

However, specialist batsman Mominul Haque has already started his practice individually with the fitness training during the vacation.

Few of other national players are doing fitness training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) gymnasium while few of them are practicing with bat and ball at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium. Among them, one is Mominul Haque.

According to Mominul, he is now focussing more on fitness than anything else.

While talking to the reporters on Monday, Mominul said: “I am now emphasising more on fitness what I will do in the next few days. Thereafter I will start my batting practice.”

Mominul is of the belief that the Tigers are now stronger than ever, and they now can take the fullest advantage of playing at own condition, which will also enable them to play overall better brand of cricket against the Aussies.
