This board, taking a comprehensive program for the production of silk cultivation and silk yarn. Under the accepted program, Bangladesh branch of the Silk Board of Bangladesh opened its office in Jhenaidah. Jinnaidah sadar upazila is a old village of hilhanchi. The name of the union is named after the village. The Jhenaidah-Chuadanga paved pathway flows over the Halechandi Bazar.

The distance from the Jhenaidah town to the west is approximately 10 km. The “Holi” silk farming nursery is located in the environment of a beautiful nature on the west side of the Hulkishi Bazor. The total area of ​​nursery is 72 bighas.

Mulberry is cultivated in about 55 bighas. Silk eggs and insects are produced from this mulberry tree. In this nursery, silk insect reproduction center is developed by the advanced biological technology to produce quality silk eggs in this nursery and it is preserved in modern technological process. Numerous silk pots are produced here by producing silk beetle in an advanced and modern way.

Silk pies are produced every year in Chaitra, Jivas, Bhadra and Agadhan. Silk yarn is made of silk yarn in the special process of this nursery factory. 12 kg silk yarn made from 1 kg of fine silk yarn. Rajshahi Silk factories were selling yarn to make silk fabric. From this nursery, the disease-free silk eggs of about 7 lakh rupees eight lakhs of rupees are being supplied in different parts of the country.

There are about 200 women and men working in the halibhandi nursery for this work. Production of quality silk yarn is possible if the weather is favorable.

The effect of our Jhenaidah is useful for the production of mulberry and silk worm eggs. That’s why it has become a profitable silk production center.
