One crop cutting and ground day was held under the Productivity Promotion Improvement Project in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah.
The ground day was celebrated on a flower-copy exhibition through the polythene plots at Barapakhia village under Niamatpur union of the upazila.
A seminar was held in the chairmanship of Niyamatpur UP chairman Raju Ahmed Rony Laske. Speaking on the occasion, Kaliganj Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishidist Jahidul Karim spoke as the chief guest.
Syed Afzal Mahmud Hossain, Project Manager of AVPI IFDC, Jennifer Ahmed, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, AVPI, IFDPC, Field Monitoring Officer of IFDPC Zahirul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Niyamatpur Union, along with the assistance of Upazilla Agricultural Extension Directorate and IFD organized the meeting.

Speakers at the discussion meeting said that if vegetables are produced by polythene house and trickle irrigation, insects do not require insects, water is saved and pesticides use less.
The use of crushed urea is more than cauliflower compared to urea per bigha. Before the discussion meeting, Nahar Begum’s exhibition plot was calculated by dividing 10 cauliflower powders of urea and turmeric urea.
