Hasina wins Gopalganj-3

Gopalganj, Dec 30 : Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was unofficially declared elected in Gopalganj-3 constituency in the 11th general election on Sunday. Sheikh Hasina bagged 229,539 votes while her nearest rival SM Jilani of BNP polled 123. Returning officer Mokhlesur Rahman Sarkar announced the unofficial result around 8pm.
