Rail link with Sylhet resumes

Sylhet Office :  Rail communication of Sylhet with other parts of the country resumed after around five hours of disruption due to derailment of a Jalalabad Express train.

A rescue train recovered the derailed bogies around 2:30pm.

Sylhet Rail Station Master Kazi Shahidur Rahman confirmed the matter.

Earlier, rail communication with Sylhet was suspended following the derailment in Mollikpur area near Fenchuganj-Kushiara Bridge around 11am.
