British High Commissioner meets acting Jatiya Party chairman

Dhaka, Jun 2 : British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Dickson met Jatiya Party’s acting Chairman GM Quader on Sunday.

They discussed various issues of mutual interest, the party said in a statement.

High Commissioner Dickson went to Jatiya Party Chairman’s Banani office at 10:40am and had an hour-long meeting there.

He was briefed about the party’s activities apart from touching upon the friendly bilateral relations between Bangladesh and England.

Jatiya Party presidium members Syed Abu Hossain Babla, MP, Habibur Rahman, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, party chairman’s international affairs adviser Maj (Retd) Ashraf ud Doula and British High Commission’s political analyst Ejaz Rahman were also present during the meeting.

The British High Commissioner signed the visitors’ book there after visiting the Jatiya Party office.
