The government has appointed Mohammad Belayet Hossain, secretary of Textiles and Jute ministry, as secretary to Bridges Division under the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry.
He will replace Khandker Anwarul Islam, who was appointed as the cabinet secretary, on October 13.
