Nasir Hossain has been suspended for one match in the third round of the National Cricket League (NCL) for his anti-sporting behaviour and abusive language towards umpire in last two matches of the league.
Confirming this to media on Saturday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selector Habibul Bashar said, “Nasir was suspended for two reasons.”“He was not serious while bowling in the first match rather making fun. And in the second match, he used inappropriate words against the umpire for refusing to his call for LBW. Therefore, he has been suspended for one match,” he said.
Earlier, Nasir was fined 25 percent of his match fees for using abusive language towards umpire in the second round NCL match against Dhaka Division.
